Style Guide

Week 10: 11-17 September

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been slowly working on producing a style guide for Positivi-tees. This wasn’t on my initial to-do list but I felt that I didn’t have a concise or tangible asset that showcased the brand of Positivi-Tees. I created this style guide based on a template I created recently for my job and adjusted it to suit my brand. I’m really happy I’ve been taking the time to make this because even though I was confident and knew the identity of Positivi-Tees really well, I just didn’t have anything to refer to.

In addition to finishing the style guide, I printed off my designs onto transparent paper so that the designs can be burned onto my screens. There’s the three back designs and then the three front are on one sheet.

We had a Zoom class this week for DTI3001 which was really good to see how everyone was progressing and the evolution of their projects. I discussed with the class my struggle to find a screen printer to assist in the image-burning process and Joel mentioned that UniSQ actually has the resources and equipment for screenprinting on campus. Alistair said he would find out more information for me in regards to possibly sending my screens down to Toowoomba and getting them burned there, so I’m hoping that, that works out.
