Girl Almighty was a university piece dedicated to showing awareness of a social or cultural issue in the context of design for a particular audience through a zine and then a magazine. Girl Almighty targets teenage girls as, from personal experience, your teenage years are your most influential and emotional and it’s a time where you discover who you are and what you like. Girl Almighty looks to capture that time period and relinquish the idea of individuality, self-expression, and finding your passion.

Girl Almighty (zine) uses bright colours, crafty textures, and fun graphics to drive home the misogynistic roots of fangirl culture and reassures its readers that being yourself, is your greatest power.

Girl Almighty (magazine) delves further into these themes and includes interviews, advice, posters, stickers, quizzes, and humorous real-life stories.
